About Akazki
Surrounded by lots of fascinating books, I read as many books as I want, and before I know it, I go out.
"Akazki Library" is an inn for book lovers to realize a dreamy way of spending time for such readers.
It takes 30 minutes by car from Saga City and 1 hour from Fukuoka City.
A 120-year-old Japanese house is located quietly in the alley of "Furuyu Onsen (Saga Prefecture)", a mountain hot spring resort called "Beautiful Women's Hot Spring" or "Secret Hot Spring" with a slightly warmer and thicker spring quality than human skin. There is Akazki in a quiet place surrounded by soaking and lush greenery.
Surrounded by books, read quietly and soak in hot water. Be healed both physically and mentally.
Many book lovers gather, meet various books, and connect with people through books, expanding the world.

About collection
Akazki currently has 1,400 books in its collection. This is a selection of 20 books each by book lovers in Kyushu.
The theme is "Best 20 books you want to keep on your bookshelf at home". Every book is a "lifetime" book chosen by someone, and each book is accompanied by a reason why "the book is important".
One of the features is that it is not divided into genres by the content of the book like an ordinary library, but it is classified by the selector. The books are arranged according to the rule of one shelf per person.
There is only the constraint of a book that has a feeling. As a result, we have a wide range of genres, including novels, picture books, photo books, manga, poetry collections, and magazines.
Short Film
This short film depicts the stories of three sets of characters who visit Akazki. Each character's story unfolds in the Furuyu Hot Springs and Akazki and touches on "books", "hot springs", and "people of Furuyu".
